COVID Lockdowns- Meeting Parents Physically after One Year Apart
The week of 21st – 28th February 2021 was very traumatic I got to see my parents after one year of COVID lock downs. It was a visit for only 5 hours but it was worth it. What matters at the end of the day is connecting with loved ones. Nothing else really matters matter they are the only ones who will stand with you even when all chips are down.
It’s a reminder to always remember what matters. All trials will come to an end have the faith to hold the line and stay strong.
COVID After Effects
Finally got to visit my Dad and Mum, this was exactly one year after the COVID pandemic begun, I had missed both Easter and Christmas holidays with them. My dad is under dialysis and is getting weaker. He literally cried after seeing me for the first time in a year.
He has missed the company of his grandchildren and children. We are all scattered over the globe and it was a special moment for them. I can just imagine the agony of many souls who never got the chance to interact with their parents in their last moments.
This situation has been a tragedy all around the world. Anyway, events happen and we have to go on with life despite the hardships it presents to you at times.
Key Lesson
Life is too short, so do not fret over trivial matters. Enjoy the moments you have with your loved ones never take them for granted.
